San Diego Bayside Black Tie Photo Shoot
I have always loved the San Diego skyline. And therefore I have always loved Bayside Park in Coronado. The views of our city from this cozy, quiet park are spectacular. I could sit under a tree here watching sailboats float by for hours. So I knew it would be the perfect location for a San Diego themed wedding photo shoot for San Diego Style Weddings Magazine. I wanted to incorporate everything I love about San Diego. But I’m not a casual kind of girl, so I took all of those San Diego elements and created a San Diego Style Black Tie Wedding.
The gold, black and glass brought a formality to the scene while the beachy details, like the surfboard menu brought the San Diego fun.
The colorful centerpieces and flowers, provided by Flowers by Coley, incorporated sand and drift wood to carry the San Diego theme To salute San Diego’s thriving microbrewery scene, we served Fyodor’s Classic 2013 Imperial Russian Stout from Stone Brewing Company, instead of wine.Nothing says elegance more than a grand piano, so Brian Stodart from Mike and Brian Productions brought his piano to the Bay. We used it as a unique dessert table.
The dessert table was filled with delicious churros from Churros El Tigre. The place cards, table numbers and invitations, created by Take Note! Creations, reflected our San Diego style. Melissa McClure did an amazing job capturing these gorgeous photos! You can see more photos of this San Diego Black Tie Wedding Photo Shoot in the new 2014/2015 edition of San Diego Style Weddings Magazine.
