Traditional Catholic Wedding at Founders Chapel, University of San Diego

I was very excited to work with Jay and Veronica as they were married at one of my favorite places, Founder’s Chapel at the University of San Diego. As a USD alumna myself, this chapel holds a special place in my heart. The couple hired Stephanie Rose Events to coordinate all of their wedding details about 2 months before their wedding day.

The bride was radiant in her gown and was surrounded by her family and closest friends as she was getting ready.

Eucharist for the wedding Mass.

The groom was calm and happy waiting for his turn to walk down the aisle.

Founder’s Chapel is so beautiful that it doesn’t require much additional decor. The couple added two alter displays and flowers to line the aisle.

The bridesmaids wore a vibrant red and the groomsmen matched with their ties and red rose bouts. The flower girl and ring bearer were adorable and practiced their walk all morning so they would be perfect for the wedding. Such commitment!

The wedding Mass included traditions from the bride’s Mexican heritage and the groom’s Filipino family. The couple also presented flowers to Mary.

Mariachi Real de San Diego provided the ceremony music as well as the cocktail music after Mass.
