Kristin Watkins
Owner and Lead Event Designer
Kristin Watkins is the joyful, energetic and detail-obsessed owner and lead event designer at Stephanie Rose Events. Her impeccable reputation for creating memorable guest experiences attracts local and destination event clients like you. Specializing in nontraditional venues, Kristin has transformed beaches, barns, museums, airplane hangars and private homes into one-of-a-kind luxury destinations. As a native San Diegan, she knows the city intimately and works with the absolute best vendors the city has to offer. Blessed with an incurable case of wanderlust, Kristin has traveled to 19 countries and all 50 US States. And as a mom to two teen aged boys and a cancer survivor, there isn’t much she can’t handle.

Ashley enjoys helping to plan and execute each event she works on, ensuring that each guest is left with a memorable experience. She is a rising senior at San Diego State University majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in meetings and events. Her love for hospitality stems from the islands of Hawai’i, where she was born and raised. When she isn’t working on an event or in the classroom you can catch her on the Aztec sidelines where she is also a 4th year team member on the competitive SDSU cheerleading squad. As a result of her passion for hospitality and events Ashley loves to go above and beyond when it comes to satisfying each client and planner she works with. Her strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task helps her thrive under pressure.

About Stephanie & Rose

Stephanie Rose Events is named in honor of two very special women, the Founder Kristin Watkins’ grandmothers, Stephanie Garbaczewski and Rose Collins.

Stephanie played the piano, enjoyed Ukrainian folk dancing and was proud of family traditions. She was close to her mother and the two spent days cooking holiday feasts for their family.

Rose was a spirited woman who loved the color purple, big, sparkly jewelry and lots of perfume. She had an active social life and enjoyed traveling.

Very different women, both were born into strong families of modest means and raised in New York City. And even though they never met, together they built a family based on faith and love. And isn’t that what marriage is all about?
